About Us
We are a friendly, reliable family run business based in Kingsheath Avenue, King's Park, Glasgow and have lived in the area most of our lives so have an understanding of the area and what is required to look after your Best Buddy! My name is Liz and I run the shop with help from my Mum & Dad, Sylvia and Alistair.
Dad or Grandpa as he's better known to the dogs (yes - we are mad animal lovers!) helps with taking my dog Daisy for her daily walk and looking after the shop one day a week for me. My Mum also known as Gran helps me in the shop when it's busy or when I've just brought new stock in so we can get it on the shelves quickly for your convenience!
The shop was named after my first resuce greyhound, Buddy because he was such an inspiration in changing all over our lives! He was an older dog who needed a new home desperately and when I met him it was love at first sight for him and for me and then to be honest anyone who met him! He is no longer with us unfortunately but his name goes on by opening the shop in his name which is only a very small credit to the beautiful natured dog he was!
We now have a full family of dogs, I now have Daisy another rescue greyhound who has a lovely quiet nature in the shop lazily sleeping the day away happy to get her cuddles and of course she is spoiled rotten being in the Pet Shop! When she is out having fun she is very energetic and playful and gives us all lots of laughs especially when she is with her best friend, Cooky a Jack Russell cross belonging to my Mum & Dad who she totally adores! My brother also has a beautiful natured dog Iggy, a wee black mongrel who is in his element aslong as there is a ball involved!!
